Wayne Scott Farley's guitar playing is a combination of fingerpicking techniques derived primarily from classical and blues genres.  He combines various guitar styles and bass playing to represent a larger sound, and enjoys applying these techniques on both electric and acoustic instruments.

Wayne began his professional music career group Found Free.  They recorded two albums: Transformation (Independent) and later Closer Than Ever with Benson Records. They toured with Reba Rambo opening for pop singer BJ Thomas throughout the United States. Mr. Thomas had the strongest selling Christian album at the time.
Throughout those early years Wayne worked with many groups as guitarist, keyboardist, singer, and songwriter. He was lead guitarist for GLAD on their Beyond a Star album (Word Records) and tours in 1979-80.  He also recorded and performed extensively with pianist/singer James Ward (bass and guitar) in the early eighties, and was with 100 Huntley St (Christian broadcasting network) as bassist during their live TV broadcasts all across Canada in the Summer of 1982.

In 1985 he joined on as lead guitarist/keyboardist for Carman during his Coming on Strong tours and videos. Moving to Nashville, TN in the Spring of 1986, Farley was lead guitarist for David Meece (Word Records, Starsong Records) for five years.  The group toured consistently throughout the United States and Canada, and enjoyed three concert tours to Australia.

Wayne and his family have been residing in the Northeast for several years. He has lead the North Jersey Christian Musicians' Network, formed the group "Force for Good," and produced CD's for many local artists.  He also co-lead a cable television program "National Heart" in Sussex County, NJ,  while continuing to participate in concerts with David Meece from time to time.

Currently Wayne spends the majority of his time in the studio.  His fifth Cd SEIZE THE DAY was released in November 2006.  He is currently working on his sixth Cd, and will feature "Wounded Counselor".   Recently Wayne has been asked to create create advertisement jingles so he is also in the process of completing those tunes.  Anyone interested in building up their clientele will listen to Wayne's potpourri of textures and styles, including ballads, rockers, symphonies and marching bands, just to name a few.  These will be added soon so check back often!
